With Formula 1 tickets continuing to be in high demand, on sale dates for Grands Prix are much earlier than they used to be. Typically, tickets for Formula 1 events go on sale 6-9 months before the Grand Prix takes place. This can vary from country to country, however. Some events make their tickets for the following year available soon after the latest Grand Prix takes place, while others wait until much closer to the event for tickets to go on sale.

When Do F1 Tickets Go On Sale for 2025?
Tickets for every Formula 1 race in 2025 are already on sale. When Do F1 Tickets Go On Sale for 2026?
The date on which tickets will go on sale for next year’s races varies by event. Some promoters will make their tickets available immediately after the 2025 race, while at others there will be gaps of a few months between the 2025 event and tickets for the 2026 race going on sale. You’ll be able to secure your 2026 access earliest via F1 Experiences. Ticket packages for selected early-season races are already on sale for 2026, or you can place a deposit or join the wait list to be amongst the first to buy when sales begin. Below, we’ve outlined when to expect tickets for each race on next year’s calendar to be available. The 2026 Formula 1 calendar has not yet been announced. The 2025 calendar was revealed in early April, but this was historically very early.
2026 Australian Grand Prix
Tickets for the 2026 Australian Grand Prix are likely to go on sale in October 2025. Last year, ticket sales were due to start on October 8 but a “global third-party outage” struck Ticketmaster and the ticket sale was delayed by 24 hours. It’s worth noting that last year, hospitality tickets went on sale a month earlier than grandstand tickets, and popular areas did sell out. In a change to previous years, Albert Park’s “Access” programme – which gave subscribers early access to tickets – has been discontinued. Given that and last year’s issues with Ticketmaster, it’s possible that the promoter’s approach to the 2026 Australian Grand Prix ticket sale could be different to previous seasons. Fans who are interested in securing 2026 Australian Grand Prix tickets can register their interest via the official event website.
2026 Japanese Grand Prix
The Japanese Grand Prix moved to a much earlier slot on the calendar in 2024, switching from a late September date to an early April slot. Tickets for the 2025 Japanese Grand Prix officially went on sale via Suzuka Circuit on October 13, 2024 – two months earlier than in the previous season. Many ticket categories sell out quickly in Japan, so it’s worth being prepared well ahead of the on sale date! Ticket packages for the 2026 Japanese Grand Prix are already on sale via F1 Experiences.
2026 Chinese Grand Prix
Tickets are not yet on sale for the 2026 Chinese Grand Prix – but ticket packages for the event are already available via F1 Experiences. Tickets for the 2025 race went on sale on December 18, 2024 – a few weeks earlier than they did for other recent editions of the event. While local sales are handled through the Juss Sports app, international fans may find it easier to secure tickets via our trusted supplier (sign up to the mailing list via the link below).
2026 Bahrain Grand Prix
Grandstand tickets for the 2026 Bahrain Grand Prix were made available immediately after the 2025 race, with a 20% early bird discount. Further information is available via the Bahrain Grand Prix website. Ticket packages are also available for next year’s race via F1 Experiences. After holding the opening slot on the calendar in recent years, the Bahrain Grand Prix became the fourth race of the season in 2025, in mid April. It is likely to occupy a similar slot next year.
2026 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix
Tickets for the 2026 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix are not yet available. Last year, tickets for the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix went on sale in late November, five months before the event. There is usually an early bird offer on tickets for races at Jeddah Corniche Circuit, with up to 20% discounts on General Admission and grandstand tickets. 2026 Miami Grand Prix
Tickets for the 2026 Miami Grand Prix are likely to go on sale in the late summer. Tickets for the 2025 edition of the race went on sale in September 2024. 2026 Emilia Romagna Grand Prix
Firstly, it’s looking increasingly likely that the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix will not feature on the 2026 Formula 1 calendar. As a result of Italy having two races on the schedule, F1 CEO Stefano Domenicali has highlighted the Imola race as the one most likely not to make the cut in 2026. If there is to be a 2026 Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, expect tickets to be available in early September, after the 2025 Italian Grand Prix at Monza.
2026 Monaco Grand Prix
Tickets for the 2026 Monaco Grand Prix will likely go on sale in the summer. You can already place a deposit on tickets for the 2026 race via F1 Experiences. For the 2025 race, the on-sale date was much earlier than in recent seasons, with tickets being available to the general public from July 29. There was a pre-sale period which began two weeks prior to that date for members of the Automobile Club de Monaco. In 2026, as part of its new contract, the Monaco Grand Prix moves to the first weekend in June – a week later than its traditional slot.
2026 Canadian Grand Prix
Tickets for the 2026 Canadian Grand Prix are likely to be available soon after the 2025 race takes place. Last year, grandstand and general admission tickets were first available on July 23, just over a month after the previous race took place. By that logic, you can expect tickets for the 2026 Canadian Grand Prix to be available around mid-July, though it’s worth noting that from 2026 the Canadian Grand Prix will take place slightly earlier, in May. 2026 Spanish Grand Prix
The Spanish Grand Prix has a new home in 2026 as the Madring in Madrid takes over from Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya as host of the event. It’s not yet known when tickets for the new Mardrid race will go on sale, though you can secure access now by placing a deposit on ticket packages via F1 Experiences. In recent years the on-sale date of tickets for the Spanish Grand Prix coincided with Black Friday.
2026 Barcelona Grand Prix
Having hosted every Spanish Grand Prix since 1991, 2025 will mark the final time Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya will host the event. Nevertheless, the track is contracted to appear on the calendar in 2026, likely under a new title of the ‘Barcelona’ or ‘Catalan’ Grand Prix. In recent years, tickets for races at Catalunya have gone on sale in the final months of the year. Tickets for the 2025 race were available in early November in 2024. 2026 Austrian Grand Prix
It’s very likely that tickets for the 2025 Austrian Grand Prix will be available as soon as the 2025 race weekend comes to an end, as has been the case in recent years. Early bird discount is usually available on Austrian Grand Prix tickets and the most popular ticket categories sell out quickly. 2026 British Grand Prix
In recent years, tickets for the British Grand Prix have been available from September, with 2025 British Grand Prix tickets being available to the public from September 26. Tickets for the Silverstone race have been released in stages in the last few years, with priority access available to those who are members of the Silverstone Racing Club – access to which was available from £125 last year. Note that dynamic pricing has been applied in the last three years, meaning it pays to secure your tickets as early as possible. 2026 Belgian Grand Prix
If recent years are anything to go by, tickets for the 2026 Belgian Grand Prix will go on sale days after the 2025 race takes place. You can already place a deposit on ticket packages for next year’s race at Spa-Francorchamps via F1 Experiences.
2026 Hungarian Grand Prix
In the last few years, tickets for the following year’s Hungarian Grand Prix have gone on sale just days after the latest race at the track. That means tickets for the 2026 Hungarian Grand Prix will likely be available in early August. You can already place a deposit on 2026 Hungarian Grand Prix ticket packages via F1 Experiences.
2026 Dutch Grand Prix
Tickets for the final edition of the Dutch Grand Prix in 2026 are likely to go on sale during the 2025 Dutch Grand Prix. Last year, tickets went on sale on Friday August 23 – the first day of the Dutch Grand Prix weekend. Secure a place at the final Dutch Grand Prix now by placing a deposit on an F1 Experiences ticket package.
Due to huge demand in previous years, Dutch Grand Prix used a registration process to register interest in buying tickets for the Zandvoort race. For 2024 Dutch Grand Prix tickets, this registration period was open from August 25 (the first day of that year’s Dutch Grand Prix weekend) to September 8. 2026 Italian Grand Prix
With high interest in attending the Italian Grand Prix, the start of ticket sales has moved forward in recent years. Previously going on sale around Christmas, tickets for the 2025 race were available in early September 2024 – just after the 2024 Monza event had taken place. 2026 Azerbaijan Grand Prix
Tickets for the 2026 Azerbaijan Grand Prix are likely to go on sale in the new year. Tickets for the 2025 edition of the Baku race went on sale on January 22. It’s worth noting that tickets for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix usually have a 20% discount for the first few weeks of sales – so it’s worth securing your ticket as early as possible!F1 Experiences’ ticket packages are good value at Baku City Circuit. 2026 Singapore Grand Prix
Tickets for the 2026 Singapore Grand Prix should go on sale during this year’s race weekend, as they did last year. Super Early Bird tickets usually sell out fast – a period which is followed by a further Early Bird ticket sale period, during which ticket prices are discounted. 2026 United States Grand Prix
Tickets for the United States Grand Prix usually go on sale in March, with a pre-sale for Amex Card Holders taking place a few days before the public on sale date. Tickets for the race at Circuit of The Americas went on sale as early as December in 2023. 2026 Mexico City Grand Prix
Expect tickets for 2026 to be available in the week after the 2025 Mexico City Grand Prix. Last year, tickets for the Mexico City Grand Prix went on sale in mid-November. There was a single-day pre-sale event for Citibanamex and Banorte card holders via Ticketmaster Mexico. 2026 São Paulo Grand Prix
In the pre-pandemic era, tickets for the Interlagos race tended not to go on sale until the new F1 season had started, in March. With increased demand since F1 returned to Brazil in 2021, tickets for the Sao Paulo Grand Prix now go on sale much earlier, usually in the days immediately after the current edition of the event – and sell out fast. 2026 Las Vegas Grand Prix
The Las Vegas Grand Prix was the last race on the 2025 Formula 1 calendar for which tickets went on sale. Tickets for the third running of the race on the Las Vegas Strip were available to the general public from April 9, with priority access for American Express Card Members from April 2. 2026 Qatar Grand Prix
One of the newer races on the calendar, the 2026 Qatar Grand Prix will be F1’s fifth visit to Lusail Circuit. In 2023, tickets for the early October race went on sale in late May, under five months before the race took place. The sales period was much longer for the 2024 event, with tickets having gone on sale in February – almost ten months prior to the race, which took place in December. 2026 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix
Tickets for the 2026 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix are likely to be available soon after the 2025 race. With the race not taking place until December, the on-sale date has become later in recent years.
