The 2025 F1 calendar features a record-equaling 24 races and tickets are already on sale for the majority of races, some of which are close to already being sold out. With interest in attending Formula 1 remaining close to all-time highs, locking in your 2025 race tickets, flights and accommodation as early as possible is key to both saving money and ensuring a smoother Formula 1 travel experience in 2025.
For the first time in the sport’s history, the 2025 season – marking the 75th anniversary of Formula 1 – will begin with a season launch event in London on February 18. Featuring all 10 teams and 20 drivers, the sold-out ‘F1 75 Live’ event will take place at London’s O2 Arena. It will be the first opportunity for fans to see the new liveries for 2025 as all 10 teams reveal their new look for the first time.
Just over one week later, the start of 2025 F1 pre-season testing signals the end of the winter break and the return to the track for all ten teams, who will be at Bahrain International Circuit on February 26-28 for three days of testing with their new challengers. Unlike the last few seasons however, Bahrain will not host the season-opening race one week later. Instead, there will be a three-week gap before the opening race of the season in Australia.
Down Under & Far East: Australia, Japan & China
For the first time since 2019, the new season will begin at the Albert Park circuit in Melbourne. Starved of easily accessible and affordable races for much of the season, the huge Australian fanbase has already snapped up most of the tickets for the 2025 Australian Grand Prix (March 13-16), which is one of the highest-attended races of the season.
One of the best organized races on the calendar, the Australian Grand Prix is held at Albert Park, a popular recreational space midway between the city centre and St. Kilda beach. From the circuit, there’s easy access via free trams to the best culture, events, restaurants and nightlife that Melbourne has to offer.
As part of Formula 1’s efforts to regionalise the calendar and cut down on unnecessary travel and shipping costs, the Australian Grand Prix will be followed one week later by the 2025 Chinese Grand Prix (March 21-23). The race in Shanghai made a popular return to the calendar in 2024 after a four-season absence, and the 2025 race will once again feature Formula 1’s sprint race format.
Shanghai remains one of the most exciting destinations on the current F1 calendar. The largest city in the world is vibrant, exciting and affordable for Western tourists, though a trip to China does take careful planning for the average international visitor. Shanghai International Circuit, connected by the Metro to downtown, offers modern facilities and close racing. Tickets are amongst the most affordable on the entire calendar, though can be hard to secure due to very high local demand. A limited number of 2025 Chinese GP tickets are now available via our trusted supplier.
The final stop on Formula 1’s early season trip to Oceania and Asia is the 2025 Japanese Grand Prix (April 4-6). The race at Suzuka Circuit made a popular move in 2024 from its traditional slot in September to new early-season dates. Now taking place during Spring, when Japan’s famous cherry blossoms are in full bloom, temperatures are slightly lower but the race is less likely to be affected by the storms that have featured so prominently in the race’s history.
Suzuka remains one of Formula 1’s most popular circuits with drivers and fans alike. For the best choice of accommodation and off-track activities, we recommend staying in the nearby city of Nagoya and taking the train or dedicated bus service to the track. A good selection of 2025 Japanese GP tickets are still available.
The Middle East, Part 1: Bahrain & Saudi Arabia
Hot on the heels of the Japanese Grand Prix, Formula 1 heads to the Middle East for the fourth and fifth races of the 2025 season, which also completes the first triple header of the season. After taking place just before the start of Ramadan in 2024, the races in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia move to new dates after the end of the holy month in 2025.
First up is the 2025 Bahrain Grand Prix (April 11-13). One of the F1 calendar’s hidden gems, Bahrain attracts less than 40,000 fans on race day. Whatever Bahrain lacks in trackside atmosphere is more than compensated by easy access to the track and no queues inside! Tickets and accommodation are affordable, and the racing under lights is frequently close and exciting. Tickets and F1 Experiences packages are now on sale, and in recent years have sold out well before race weekend, so we recommend securing yours as soon as possible.
The 2025 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix (April 18-20) follows just one week after Bahrain. Another night race, but this time on a frighteningly fast street circuit next to the Red Sea in Jeddah, the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix has delivered plenty of exciting racing since debuting in 2021. Bahrain and Jeddah are connected by regular 2-hour direct flights, making it easy to attend two races in less than two weeks! Tickets and F1 Experiences packages are now on sale for the 2025 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix.
First Stop in North America: Miami
After being somewhat overshadowed by the debut of the Las Vegas Grand Prix in 2023, Formula 1’s ‘other’ new race in the USA has still managed to carve out its own place on the calendar, attracting a record 3-day attendance in 2024. The 2025 Miami Grand Prix (May 2-4) remains a standalone event in 2025, but will be joined by another North American race in 2026 when the Canadian Grand Prix moves from June to May as part of F1’s calendar regionalization efforts.
The circuit around the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami has produced plenty of exciting racing in the past few seasons, and the organization has significantly improved. If warm weather, beaches, nightlife and celebrity spotting also spark your interest, then it’s time to start planning your trip to Miami next May. Tickets and F1 Experiences Packages are already on sale for 2025, and prices are much more affordable than when the race debuted in 2022.
Euro Triple Header: Imola, Monaco, Spain
Not too many good things came out of the Covid-19 pandemic, but the return of Autodromo Imola to the F1 calendar was one of them. In stark contrast to new circuits in Miami and Las Vegas, Imola is an old-school circuit in northern Italy that’s steeped in F1 history. Imola’s shortcomings were highlighted by the terrible floods that saw 2023’s race cancelled at the last moment, but we highly recommend going to this race while you still have the chance. There’s no guarantee that the race contract will be extended beyond 2025. Attend the 2025 Emilia Romagna Grand Prix (May 16-18) and be sure to extend your trip to take in the history, culture, motorsport attractions and cuisine of the Emilia Romagna region. Tickets and F1 Experiences packages are now on sale.
Not ticked Monaco off your Formula 1 bucket list yet? Make it happen in 2025! A trip to the 2025 Monaco Grand Prix (May 22-25) doesn’t have to break the bank, unless you want it to. Make sure you set aside some time to walk the circuit and take in the city by night on race weekend, even if you are staying outside the principality. There’s plenty of accommodation available in nearby Nice, and regular trains run on race weekend. Consider watching from a yacht or trackside terrace on Thursday or Friday, when prices are much more reasonable than on the weekend. Grandstand tickets and F1 Experiences packages are now on sale for the 2025 Monaco Grand Prix. With a limited number of places to watch the action, we recommend buying your Monaco tickets as early as possible.
A calendar mainstay since the early 1990s, Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya has a lot going for it. Reasonable ticket prices, excellent grandstand views and proximity to the history, culture, cuisine and nightlife of Barcelona are all reasons to attend the 2025 Spanish Grand Prix (May 30-June 1). Another reason is that the race is not likely to be on the calendar much longer. The Spanish Grand Prix moves to Madrid in 2026, though Barcelona does have a contract in place with Formula 1 until the same year. Tickets and F1 Experiences packages are now on sale for the 2025 Spanish GP.
Return to North America: Canada
Rain and storms have plagued recent editions of the race, and it could be argued that Formula 1 has outgrown Circuit Gilles Villeneuve (which is located on a small man-made island in the St. Lawrence Seaway), but the 2025 Canadian Grand Prix (June 13-15) is definitely a race still worth attending. Ticket prices remain affordable, especially for those south of the border, the racing is frequently close and exciting, and the city of Montreal comes alive on race weekend like few other F1 cities. Tickets go on sale early and sell out quickly via the promoter, but we still have a good selection of grandstand tickets available for 2025 via our trusted supplier.
Euro Season Continues: Austria, Britain, Belgium, Hungary
The traditional European summer season of Formula 1 kicks into high gear with four classic circuits hosting races before the summer break, starting with the 2025 Austrian Grand Prix (June 27-29). Arguably F1’s most picturesque venue, the Red Bull Ring offers excellent trackside views, a friendly Austrian welcome and excellent organization. Trackside camping remains popular at one of the calendar’s most isolated circuits, or you can base yourself in Graz, Austria’s second largest city and birthplace of Arnold Schwarzenegger! Tickets always go on sale early and the most popular grandstands do sell out well in advance, but limited tickets and F1 Experiences packages are still available.
A week later, Formula 1 heads to Silverstone for one the best attended race on the current calendar. The 2025 British Grand Prix (July 4-6) is sure to be a memorable weekend as F1 celebrates 75 years of the modern World Championship on the circuit where it all began in 1950. Silverstone’s organization has improved out of sight in recent years, and a packed support and entertainment schedule provides some justification for high ticket prices. Camp next to the track for the quintessential British Grand Prix experience while keeping your fingers crossed for dry weather. Tickets remain in high demand, though limited grandstand and hospitality options remain available for the 2025 British GP via our trusted supplier.
Tickets are also on sale for the 2025 Belgian Grand Prix (July 25-27). Although the historic Spa-Francorchamps circuit is in many ways an impractical venue for the large crowds that now descend on it for Formula 1 (changeable weather and access issues primarily), the organizers have managed to keep the circuit on the calendar… for now. Visit this race while you still can for some of the best trackside views on the calendar, especially from the new and covered Gold 3 grandstand overlooking Eau Rouge. Just don’t expect it to be easy. Unless you are camping next to the circuit, it can be difficult to find accommodation, and no matter where you sit, there will be lots of hills to climb! For all-inclusive hospitality with fantastic views of Eau Rouge, we recommend Champions Club Tower Packages from F1 Experiences.
It’s all change at the Hungaroring, as the ageing circuit outside Budapest undergoes an extensive renovation ahead of the 2025 Hungarian Grand Prix (August 1-3) and the race returns to its traditional calendar slot right before the four-week summer break. Ticket prices have been creeping higher in recent years – and confusingly, all the grandstands have been given new names for 2025 – but Hungary remains the cheapest destination on the European F1 calendar. And as well as being affordable, Budapest has great restaurants, nightlife and things to do when visiting for the race. Tickets always go on sale early and sell out quickly, but limited tickets and F1 Experiences packages are still available for the 2025 Hungarian GP.
SUMMER BREAK: After 14 races in less than five months, the F1 teams get a well-deserved summer break between the 2025 Hungarian Grand Prix on August 3 and the 2025 Dutch Grand Prix on August 31. The races at the Hungaroring and Zandvoort are four weeks apart, but factoring in travel and race weekend preparations, the break for most team members is only three weeks.
Euro Season Concludes: Netherlands, Italy
Formula 1 returns after the summer break with two of Europe’s most historic, atmospheric and exciting races on consecutive weekends, starting with the 2025 Dutch Grand Prix (August 29-31) at Circuit Zandvoort. Don’t discount attending if you are not a Max Verstappen fan, even just to witness the Oranje Army in full flight! Organization is excellent and proximity to the fantastic city of Amsterdam (regular 30-minute trains are available on race weekend) is an added bonus. You’ve only got two more chances to see F1 at this classic circuit, with the recent confirmation that the race will depart the calendar after 2026. Tickets and F1 Experiences packages are now on sale.
From orange to red, Formula 1 heads south to the outskirts of Milan for the 2025 Italian Grand Prix (September 5-7). Home of the Ferrari-supporting tifosi, Monza is the oldest circuit on the calendar and is located within one of the largest city parks in Europe. Nearby Milan offers an excellent choice of accommodation and easy access to history, culture and nightlife. Although the trackside experience can be a little chaotic, there’s still nowhere like Monza and the post-race track invasion with thousands of Ferrari fans is a memorable experience. Tickets for 2025 went on sale earlier than in recent years, but there’s still a good selection available.
Heading East Again: Azerbaijan, Singapore
It may not be well served by international air routes, but Baku is definitely worth the trip. The best part is that the 2025 Azerbaijan Grand Prix (September 19-21) takes place in the heart of the city, and there’s plenty of affordable accommodation within walking distance of the track. The fanzone next to the foreshore is one of the best on the calendar, and the organizers sign big-name performers for race weekend concerts. With one of the smallest attendances on the calendar, there’s also still scope for the organizers to hold a pit lane walk for regular fans. Tickets are not yet on sale for 2025 but you can secure an Official Ticket Package from F1 Experiences.
From the edge of Europe, Formula 1 packs up and flies to the other side of the world for another city-centre street race, the 2025 Singapore Grand Prix (October 3-5). The original night race remains one of the sport’s best spectacles, and for good reason. Impeccable organization, exciting racing under lights, big-name concerts, fantastic cuisine and nightlife are just some of the drawcards. On the downside, the race is one of the most expensive to attend all season. Many grandstands are already sold out via the promoter for 2025, but you can still secure tickets via our supplier.
Extended Americas: Austin, Mexico, São Paulo, Las Vegas
Formula 1’s last extended visit to the Americas in 2025 begins with a double header taking in Austin and Mexico City. Despite only being part of the F1 calendar since 2012, Circuit of The Americas (COTA) has cemented its reputation as a modern classic and the stateside race to choose for racing purists. Attending the 2025 United States Grand Prix (October 17-19) is not only your chance to enjoy exciting racing (and an F1 Sprint weekend) at one of the best circuits on the calendar for spectating, but also discover the legendary nightlife, cuisine and hospitality of Austin, Texas. Tickets are not yet on sale for 2025, but you can already secure an Official Ticket Package from F1 Experiences.
The Mexican Grand Prix is one of the most exciting races to attend all season, even if local hero Sergio Perez won’t be on the grid in 2025. Sit in the Foro Sol stadium complex for the best atmosphere, stay downtown, don’t be shy to try the street food and make sure you stay around for the Day of The Dead celebrations! Tickets for the 2025 Mexico Grand Prix (October 24-26) have already sold out via the circuit promoter, but our supplier still has a good supply of grandstand seats available.
Located on the outskirts of the largest city in Brazil, Interlagos is an old-school track that has produced some of the most exciting races of the past 20 years. Whilst São Paulo does have a reputation for being a little rough around the edges, the vast majority of F1 visitors experience no issues with safety, and the locals are very welcoming. The biggest downside of Brazil is the better than average chance of poor weather, which definitely impacted the fan experience in 2024. Tickets for the 2025 São Paulo Grand Prix (November 7-9) sold out in record time once again via the circuit promoter, but you can still secure tickets via our supplier, as well as F1 Experiences packages. Champions Club and Orange Tree Club hospitality are both recommended.
Two weeks after Brazil, the F1 circus travels north to Nevada for the 2025 Las Vegas Grand Prix (November 20-22). After organizational issues in the first year, the second edition of the Saturday night race on the Las Vegas Strip offered a much improved spectator experience. Ticket and hotel prices were also substantially reduced. Tickets and packages are not yet on sale for the 2025 Las Vegas GP, but you can pay a deposit to secure your access.
The Middle East, Part 2: Qatar & Abu Dhabi
The 2025 F1 season concludes with another double header under lights in the Middle East. Will we see the championships go down to the wire? Doha and Abu Dhabi are connected by a one-hour flight or a six hour car journey, so attending back to back races to end the 2025 season is easily doable.
Attendance increased substantially at Lusail Circuit in 2024, though the race remains one of the lowest-attended of the season. The fan zone was also improved for 2024, and Maroon 5 headlined the post-race concert. The best views at the circuit can be found around the opening corners (especially the Lusail Hill general admission area) and affordable trackside hospitality is available for those who like to enjoy an alcoholic beverage while watching the action (alcohol is not available in the fan zones). Tickets are not yet on sale for the 2025 Qatar Grand Prix (November 28-30), but you can already lock in a grandstand or hospitality package with F1 Experiences, Formula 1’s official travel and experience programme.
One week later, the curtain is set to come down on the equal-longest F1 season in history at the 2025 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix (December 5-7). The Middle East’s answer to Monaco, Yas Marina Circuit features superyachts, VIP parties and a 5-star hotel in the middle of the track! It’s also the only twilight race on the calendar, and the end of season parties are legendary. The downside? Abu Dhabi’s tickets (and race-weekend accommodation prices) are amongst the most expensive on the calendar. Tickets are expected to go on sale early in the new year, but you can already secure an Official Ticket Package from F1 Experiences.
