Formula 1 returns to Imola for the 32nd race at the legendary Italian circuit. Imola re-joined the Formula 1 calendar amid the coronavirus pandemic in 2020. Having previously hosted both the Italian and San Marino Grands Prix, the circuit’s race is now titled the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix – or the Formula 1 Gran Premio Del Made In Italy E Dell’Emilia Romagna, to give its full official title.

40km to the east of Bologna, the Imola circuit – or Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari – is located in the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy. The picturesque region was in the news in 2023, when local flooding caused by torrential rain led to the cancellation of the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix being cancelled. Thankfully, the Imola race went ahead without interruption in 2024.

Tickets Now On Sale for the 2025 Emilia Romagna Grand Prix
Much earlier than recent editions of the race, tickets are now on sale for the 2025 Emilia Romagna Grand Prix. Tickets are expected to be sold in phases, with more tickets becoming available later this year. Affordable Rivazza 1 grandstand tickets are recommended for excellent views and some of the best atmosphere on the calendar. How much will I spend on a trip to the 2025 Emilia Romagna Grand Prix?
Priced at €90, General Admission tickets for the 2025 Emilia Romagna Grand Prix are expected to be amongst the cheapest on the 2025 F1 calendar. Grandstand seats are also reasonably priced at Imola, coming in at around the average price of grandstand seats for Formula 1 races in 2024, though the seats in the Start/Partenza 1-4 grandstands on the start/finish straight are expensive.
Accommodation for the 2025 Emilia Romagna Grand Prix is also relatively affordable, with plenty of hotel options in Bologna, Ravenna, Rimini and the surrounding areas. On Track Action at the 2025 Emilia Romagna Grand Prix
Imola has served up some classic Formula 1 races in its history and has produced plenty of memorable moments since returning to the calendar. Max Verstappen has won the last three editions of the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, but is likely to have a much more difficult task following up in 2025 due to recent changes in the competitive order.
Formula 1’s sprint format hasn’t been used at Imola since 2022, and will not be returning in 2025. Alongside the main event, Formula 2 and Formula 3 are already confirmed to race at Imola next year, and are expected to be joined once again by the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup, which will likely start it’s 2025 season again. Probably yes. I think it worked a lot better at Imola than it did at Monza. Recommended to buy your tokens early, when you arrive, as less likely to be queues. Expect to pay around 8 EUR for a beer, around 12 EUR for a sandwich/burger
