Bastille, Mabel & Sigala to Perform at 2022 British Grand Prix Concerts

Silverstone has revealed details of its headline musical acts for the 2022 British Grand Prix weekend. Example, Sigala, Bastille and Mabel will take to the stage over the race weekend.

The British Grand Prix always features a packed schedule of both on-track and off-track entertainment. Following news earlier this week that W Series will be on the support bill once again at Silverstone in 2022, event organisers have now confirmed plans for four headline musical acts during the event. Example, Sigala, Bastille and Mabel will perform over the 2022 British Grand Prix weekend, which is scheduled to take place on July 1-3.

Example to perform on Thursday

For the first time, the British Grand Prix will have a headline music act on Thursday night. Kick-starting the Silverstone weekend in 2022 will be Example. The British rapper is known for hits such as Watch the Sun Come Up and Changed the Way You Kiss Me.

The concert will be open to all weekend ticket holders. In previous years, there has been plenty to keep fans entertained on Thursday at Silverstone, including a live show from Sky Sports F1 on the Hamilton Straight, featuring guest appearances from F1 drivers.

Sigala will perform on Friday

After Free Practice concludes on Friday at Silverstone, British DJ Sigala will perform on the main stage at 21:00. Sigalaโ€™s biggest hits include Easy Love, Say You Do and Just Got Paid. Support comes from Beren Olivia, who will take to the stage at 20:00.

Bastille take to the stage on Saturday

Brit award-winning indie band Bastille have been announced as the Saturday night headliners for the 2022 British Grand Prix. Bastille, who have sold 11 million records worldwide, rose to fame in 2013 following the success of global smash hit Pompeii. The band heads to Silverstone in July after the conclusion of their UK headline tour in April 2022. They’ll perform an hour-long set from 21:00 to 22:00.

Music on the main stage on Saturday will begin shortly after the F1 Drivers Forum. Charlotte Jane will perform at 19:00, with DJ Jaguar Skills performing a set from 20:00 to 20:30.

Mabel to perform post race on Sunday

After the British Grand Prix on Sunday July 3, Swedish singer Mabel will perform on the main stage. Rising to fame in 2017, Mabelโ€™s biggest hits include Don’t Call Me Up, Mad Love, and Boyfriend.

Alfie Templeman will also perform on the main stage after Sunday’s race from 17:10 to 17:35, along with the UK’s 2022 Eurovision act Sam Ryder. Ryder will also perform the National Anthem ahead of the Grand Prix.

British Grand Prix tickets in high demand

With the prospect of Lewis Hamilton battling for an eighth world title, George Russell joining him at the front-running Mercedes team and Lando Norris continuing to impress at McLaren, itโ€™s no surprise that tickets for the 2022 British Grand Prix are selling fast. Weekend General Admission tickets for the event sold out before Christmas โ€“ the earliest point at which they have done so in recent memory.

Grandstand tickets for the race weekend are still available. You can find more information on buying tickets for the British Grand Prix in our guide to buying Silverstone tickets.

    1. I haven’t seen the concert start times published yet. The concerts will begin soon after the last on-track action finishes, but headliners may be on a bit later

Hi Tommy, you don’t need a separate ticket to watch the live music. Just head to the main stage near the Fan Zone to watch the performances!

  1. Any one know if under 10’s need a ticket as says do in t&C’s but had no option to add for their free ticket?
