More details about individual company’s plans for race week can be found on their websites.

Some of the watch parties taking place in Las Vegas will be sponsored by Formula 1 teams. The Circa Resort & Casino, for example, will be home to the Red Bull Watch Party. Residencies over the 2024 Las Vegas Grand Prix Weekend

As the so-called Entertainment Capital of the World, it’s no surprise that there are plenty of concerts and events which coincide with the 2024 Las Vegas Grand Prix. Vegas is famed for its big-name residencies and there are some in town across the race week.

Catch Lionel Richie at the Encore Theatre at Wynn Las Vegas for his King of Hearts show ahead of race week on November 15-16, or see Adele end her two-year residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, with the final performances of her Weekends With Adele show on November 22-23.

DJs, Blue Man, Circuit de Soleil: 2024 Las Vegas Performances

There’s plenty of other music, comedy and other Las Vegas shows on offer in the build up to the 2024 Las Vegas Grand Prix.

If DJs are your thing, head to one of Las Vegas’ many clubs. Zouk Nightclub will play host to a range of musical acts over the 2024 Las Vegas Grand Prix weekend, including Meduza, Carl Cox, Deadmau5 and Illenium. The Marquee Nightclub also has a number of special guests lined up, including Armin van Buuren and Martin Garrix. Martin Garrix will also be playing a set at Omnia Nightclub at Caesars Palace, as will Tiesto and Zedd. At Hakkasan Nighclub, Steve Aoki and Alesso are among the headline acts. Other DJ highlights include Calvin Harris at LIV Nightclub on race night.

Looking for the quintessential Las Vegas experience? Blue Man Group perform daily at Luxor Hotel and Casino, David Copperfield is at MGM Grand and RuPaul’s Drag Race Live! is at Flamingo Las Vegas. Cirque du Soleil have a number of shows running: “O” at the Bellagio, Michael Jackson ONE at Mandalay Bay Resort and Mad Apple at New York-New York Hotel.

Experience the new MSG Sphere

The recently-opened state-of-the-art MSG Sphere – situated near Turn 8 of the Las Vegas Strip Circuit – is a “game-changing” new entertainment space in the heart of Las Vegas. The huge domed arena is fully immersive, with huge LED video walls – the largest anywhere in the world – stretching the full height of the dome.

The venue opened around one month before the 2023 Las Vegas Grand Prix and the public can now experience the venue in The Sphere Experience. Featuring interactive exhibitions, in which you can chat with a robot and experience ‘22nd Century’ technology, the experience also includes a showing of the ‘Postcard from Earth’ film, screened on the world’s largest high-definition screen.

The experience is open daily, with tickets available via the official website. It has to be seen to be believed!

Party at the Amber Lounge Afterparty

Few parties are more exclusive than the Amber Lounge on a Formula 1 race weekend. A favoured spot for the F1 drivers to unwind after a hectic race weekend, the Amber Lounge is a popular addition for VIPs at many other races on the Formula 1 calendar, including similar street races in Singapore and Monaco.

Billed as “the world’s most exclusive afterparty”, the ultimate in hospitality made its debut at casino resort The Venetian over the 2023 Las Vegas Grand Prix weekend. Amidst her residency at Voltaire at The Venetian, Kylie Minogue gave an exclusive performance at the Amber Lounge party.

Details for the Amber Lounge at the 2024 Las Vegas Grand Prix are yet to be announced but you can register your interest via the official website.

Trackside Entertainment at the 2024 Las Vegas Grand Prix

Las Vegas Grand Prix organisers have put together a special entertainment line-up for the 2023 Las Vegas Grand Prix. There are four entertainment zones at the circuit: the T-Mobile Zone at Sphere, the East Harmon Zone, the Pit Building Zone and the Flamingo Zone.

The biggest trackside performances can be found in the T-Mobile Zone, where OneRepublic are the headline act on Thursday, DJ Alesso performs on Friday and Ludacris performs on Saturday. Further appearances come from The Beaches, Chromeo, Drama and Meute.

The East Harmon Zone features sets by Vandelux, Big Boi, Snakehips and DJ Shift, while Cloonee and Dom Dolla will be performing in the Pit Building Zone. Elsewhere, in the Flamingo General Admission zone, performances come from Yehmez, Angrybaby, Touch Sensitive and DJ Spark.

All headline performances will take place in the T-Mobile Zone at Sphere, which – as the name suggests – is located near the MSG Sphere.

You can also expect to see performances from the likes of legendary acts such as Cirque du Soleil and Blue Man Group, giving the entertainment offering a quintessential Las Vegas feel. On Saturday, Boyz II Men will perform the National Anthem ahead of the race.

On Track at the 2024 Las Vegas Grand Prix

Of course, aside from all the best that Las Vegas has to offer and the trackside entertainment, there’s all of the on-track action to look forward to at the 2024 Las Vegas Grand Prix! This year, for the first time, it’s not just F1 taking to the track. The Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli series will also be contesting two races, on Friday and Saturday.

The race ‘weekend’ kicks off at 18:30 on Thursday November 21 with Free Practice 1. Hopefully things will run a little smoother than last year, when a raised drain cover led to the Thursday action being delayed into the early hours of Friday morning.

Qualifying follows on Friday November 22, before the main event – the 2024 Las Vegas Grand Prix – on Saturday November 23. Lights out for the potentially title-deciding race is scheduled for 22:00. A drivers’ parade featuring all 20 drivers will take place before the Grand Prix.

Further information about attending the Las Vegas Grand Prix, including the full on-track schedule plus access and entry information, can be found in our fully updated Trackside Guide to the 2024 Las Vegas Grand Prix.
