Milan is a major transport hub and is well located within Europe, so it’s possible to get to the race cheaply and easily, though accommodation costs in Milan do get inflated on Grand Prix weekend. Ticket prices have increased substantially in recent years, though overall Italy remains a mid-priced F1 race, according to our ranking of 2024 F1 ticket prices.

The tent has to be taken from myself?
Yes, you need your own tent. Unless you book the more expensive ‘all inclusive’ camping with the CampingF1.

Hello Andrew, I would like to ask is it better to buy the tickets in advance or is it okay to buy them at the track on the day for instance the tickets for General Admission (Weekend)? Is there a chance that the tickets would have finished for the General Admission at the day (Friday)?
Hi Tanya, I would buy them in advance as there is always a chance that tickets will sell out before the weekend! However, what I suggest you do is to pick them up at the track. Hi I am hoping to turn up without booking and will be in a 7 meter motorhome. I notice you mention trackside camping which I think is located near the Lesmo entrance at the top of the circuit. Is it likely that I will get in there if I arrive a couple of days before and do you know what the cost is please?

I’m looking to go to the 2022 Monza GP but this will be my first. What’s the price for a grandstand ticket for race day pp?
Hi Sarah, tickets are not on sale yet. In previous years (before C-19) they always went on sale around January. Tickets were also much higher in 2021 due to the 50% reduction in capacity at this year’s event, so we are hoping that prices return to more normal levels in 2022. Maybe there will also be early-bird discounts on tickets for the first few months. Having said all that, I think the price of a Sunday only grandstand ticket will be from around 200-600 EUR.
I am hoping to go and visit the imola gp 2022, I wish to meet the drivers or atleast stand by them for a pic or two and stand near the cars post race and stuff.
(Someone suggested the F1 experience package which costed my friend 900$ in the COTA 2021 race)
If this is the case and it is not necessarily important that I stay 3 days(although I would prefer this if it’s cheap and the plan is involving) and 2 days would work for me, what kind of ticket should I get, considering I wanna save the maximum and just experience F1 to its maximum limit.

Hi Maeve, you’re not the only one who wants to know. We have the price list, I can email it to you. But we are still waiting for the go-ahead to launch the sales. It should be in the next 1-2 weeks, but who knows with the Italians!!!

Hi Andrew, we are planning to travel from Ireland and book the starter package as f1experience, one concern is that our flight lands 10.45am about 15km from the track, would you or anyone know what time the pit lane/track experience are generally scheduled at? Hi Jamie, you will be fine. Track activities for F1 Experiences on Thursday don’t normally kick off until the late afternoon, around 6pm

Yes, Monzanet.it (the circuit) went on sale last Thursday. Our ticket shop opened yesterday and we sold out of the first allocation very quickly. But more tickets are now available in the shop – don’t wait around or they will sell out again. Here is the link to buy
Hi, if you buy a one day grandstand ticket for Sunday do you get general admission on the Saturday included ?
No you don’t. If you buy a one-day grandstand seat, you can only enter the track on that day (but you can also go in the General Admission areas on the same day)

How much does a grandstand ticket generally cost for the Sunday at the Monza GP (2023 for me)? I’m thinking to buy either a General Admission ticket, as is it cheap, or a grandstand ticket, as I like to be seated.
Hi Zoe, you can see the price list from our supplier for 2022 Italian Grand Prix tickets here. The problem is that almost all tickets are already sold out, so you don’t really have a good choice. We don’t have any tickets in the cheaper prices right now.
