2025 British Grand Prix tickets went on sale to the general public at 11am on Thursday September 26. After the 2023 ticket sale was plagued with issues, changes were made to the on sale process for 2024 which made it easier for Formula 1 fans to secure tickets. However, Silverstone still deployed a dynamic pricing model, which saw some fans’ tickets increase significantly in price between ticket selection and checking out.

In 2024, a record-equalling 480,000 fans attended the British Grand Prix weekend. Demand for tickets in 2025 is just as high, with four British drivers on the grid next year, Lando Norris currently in contention for the 2024 title and Lewis Hamilton set to make his highly anticipated move to Ferrari.

On the day that ticket sales begin, the official circuit website is the only place to buy legitimate grandstand and general admission tickets. Hospitality packages are available via third party sites, however, and ticket do become available via resellers after the initial sales period begins.

Below, you can find details about the dates on which 2025 British Grand Prix tickets went on sale, as well as a full price list.

Priority Access for Silverstone Racing Club Members

2025 British Grand Prix tickets were available first to members of the Silverstone Racing Club. Two levels of membership were available: Grid Membership and Full Circuit Membership. Grid Membership of the Silverstone Racing Club was priced at £125 – a £24 decrease on last year’s price, but still a £25 increase on the 2023 price – while Full Membership was priced at £185. Grid Membership offered a 24-hour priority access window, while pre-sale access for Full Membership holders was available for 48-hours before the general sale began.

As well as priority access to 2025 British Grand Prix tickets, membership granted access to club events plus various other perks. It is worth bearing in mind that 2025 British Grand Prix tickets are highly unlikely to sell out during the priority access window.

Is it Worth Buying Priority Access for British Grand Prix Tickets?

Thanks to the use of dynamic pricing, for some fans, it did work out as more cost effective to buy access to the priority ticket sale for 2025 British Grand Prix tickets.

The largest price increases between the start of the pre-sale for members and the start of the general sale were seen in the Hamilton Straight A grandstand, where prices for a 3-day ticket increased by £160 before the general sale began. Prices increased by £120 in the both the Club Corner and Copse B stands and by close to £100 in the Hamilton Straight B, Copse A Village B, Woodcote A and Luffield stands.

3-day General Admission prices increased by £30 between the start of the pre-sale and the beginning of the general sale, increasing from £269 to £299. Up to 4 tickets can be bought with a single priority access pass.

For Silverstone Racing Club members, camping and glamping tickets went on sale from 10am on Thursday September 19. The priority access for 2025 British Grand Prix tickets began at 10am on Monday September 23 for Full Circuit Members and from 11am on Tuesday September 24 for Grid Members.

When Did 2025 British Grand Prix tickets go on sale?

Camping and glamping tickets for the 2025 British Grand Prix were on sale to non-members from Friday September 20 at 10am. Official camping bookers then had the opportunity to partake in a priority Grand Prix ticket sale on Wednesday September 25 at 12pm.

Unlike in 2024, all ticket categories for the 2025 British Grand Prix (grandstand, general admission and enclosures) went on sale to the general public at the same time. Be sure to be in the queue for tickets well ahead of the time at which they are scheduled to go on sale. The more expensive and sought-after grandstands – namely Hamilton Straight A and Abbey B – General Admission Plus, General Admission and enclosure tickets were all be available to buy from 11am on Thursday September 26.

New For 2025: The Landostand

Lando Norris has partnered with Silverstone for the 2025 British Grand Prix and will have a grandstand exclusively for his fans. Stowe A, B and C – and the standing area in front of the stands – will be home to the Landostand in 2025. Grandstand ticket prices are locked at £474 for the full weekend, with standing tickets priced at £379. All ticket holders will receive free merchandise and there will be exclusive appearances from Lando Norris throughout the weekend.

How much will 2025 British Grand Prix tickets cost?

In recent years, Silverstone has deployed a dynamic pricing model, which has caused ticket prices to skyrocket within hours. In 2023, General Admission access went on sale at £219, before prices worked their way up to £349 as a result of demand. In 2024, race organisers said that the pricing model would be less aggressive, with Silverstone’s Managing Director Stuart Pringle saying that the circuit “learned a lot of lessons and we can’t have a repeat of [2023].” Nevertheless, ticket prices still increased by up to £200 in some grandstands within a week of going on sale.

The British Grand Prix is one of the more expensive races to attend on the Formula 1 calendar. The average price of 3-day tickets in 2024 is the fifth most expensive of the 24 races this year. A packed support schedule and nightly big-name concerts go some way to justifying the hefty prices.

Ticket prices at the British Grand Prix continue to grow year-on-year. The starting price for General Admission tickets has increased by £50 in 2025 compared to 2024. While 4-day grandstand tickets have reduced in price by at least £30 in most categories, their 3-day counterparts (the more popular options) have increased by at least £30 in every grandstand compared to last year.
