Very few races in Formula 1 history had as much hype as the inaugural Las Vegas Grand Prix. Despite some initial setbacks on the opening day, the 2023 Las Vegas Grand Prix produced an entertaining on-track spectacle with a Saturday night Grand Prix full of overtaking and close battles. Charles Leclerc secured pole position but it was Max Verstappen who claimed a record-breaking 20th win of the year for the Red Bull team.

With around 100,000 tickets available per day, a weekend attendance figure somewhere in the region of 300,000 is expected at the 2024 Las Vegas Grand Prix. Last year’s 4-day event was attended by 315,000, making it the seventh-best-attended race weekend of the year. While that’s the number of grandstand, general admission and hospitality tickets expected to be sold, the number of people in the city soaking up the atmosphere will be substantially higher.

2024 Las Vegas Grand Prix Ticket Prices Reduced

Yet to secure tickets for the race? Ticket prices have been coming down of late, and lots of discounts are available, as the organizers attempt to fill the grandstands for the second edition of the race. Stateside buyers have clearly wised up and are no longer willing to pay astronomical prices for Las Vegas tickets. Many prospective attendees are also leaving it till the last minute in the hope of even higher discounts on ticket prices, though that window is fast closing.

A limited number of grandstand seats and hospitality packages remain available in our Las Vegas Grand Prix Ticket Shop, with 3-day seats in the T-Mobile Sphere Grandstand (SG4, SG5) priced at $1,430 USD and 3-day seats in the Heineken Silver Main Grandstand (PG1) priced at $1,870 USD. Both ticket offers include all-inclusive stadium food and non-alcoholic drinks, and are substantially discounted from earlier prices.

How to Get to Las Vegas Strip Circuit

There are plenty of ways to get around in Las Vegas – from car, to taxi or Uber, or even limousine (it is Vegas, after all!). If you’re staying in one of the many hotels close to the circuit, it may be easier to simply walk to the track for each day of F1 action. Race organisers strongly encourage those able to walk to the track to do so. (Walking directions from strip hotels to different parts of the track in 2023 were inadequate – and sometimes downright misleading – for the inaugural race; let’s hope the organisers have been working on this for 2024!)

How Much Does it Cost to Attend the 2024 Las Vegas Grand Prix?

Tickets for the 2024 Las Vegas Grand Prix are not cheap. In fact, the average cost of tickets for this event are the most expensive of any of the 24 races on the 2024 Formula 1 calendar – and by quite a margin. The average cost of 3-day tickets in Las Vegas is $1,617. It’s a figure which is down slightly on the 2023 cost, but is still a whopping $739 more than the average cost of tickets for the Miami Grand Prix, second on the list.

We estimate that the average fan will spend around $2,400 USD on a trip to the 2024 Las Vegas Grand Prix. That price includes 3-day grandstand seats, a three night stay in a local three star hotel, plus daily spending money. Trackside at the 2024 Las Vegas Grand Prix

In 2023, the Las Vegas Grand Prix was one of the only races on the Formula 1 calendar at which the F1 cars were the only on-track action of the weekend. This year, there will be one support series, in the form of Ferrari Challenge. The F1 race weekend comprises of two practice sessions on Thursday night, final practice and qualifying on Friday night and the Grand Prix itself on Saturday night.

The T-Mobile Zone at Sphere is the place to be for all the trackside entertainment – including headline performances from OneRepublic, Alesso, Ludacris, The Beaches. Whilst the biggest names perform on the T-Mobile Zone, there are three additional concert areas at the circuit in 2024. View the full concert lineup for 2024 here. Quintessential Las Vegas shows from the likes of Cirque du Soleil and Blue Man Group also entertained the crowds at the inaugural race and are likely to do so again this year.
