1. Vettel almost loses second place at the Hockenheimring

Sebastian Vettel’s 2019 season was littered with mistakes – and there was almost another costly one at the German Grand Prix. Unseen on the world feed, this video captures the moment that Vettel went wide on the final tour of the Hockenheim circuit, and almost lost second place to Daniil Kvyat.

2. Leclerc wins at Monza

At the 2019 Italian Grand Prix, Charles Leclerc brought Ferrari their first home win in almost a decade as he fought off both Mercedes to clinch a memorable victory. The podium scenes at Monza are always incredible – especially when a Ferrari driver has won. 3. Bottas spins out of the German Grand Prix

Mercedes had a day to forget at the 2019 German Grand Prix, made all the worse by Valtteri Bottas spinning out in the tricky conditions. This video shows the moment it happened, and the reaction from Max Verstappen’s orange army.

4. Suzuka race start

There is nothing quite like the atmosphere at a circuit just before the lights go out ahead of the Grand Prix. This video from the 2019 Japanese Grand Prix captures it perfectly. As well as seeing Sebastian Vettel very nearly jump the start from pole position, you can also get a real sense of how quickly Formula 1 cars accelerate from their grid slots.

5. Leclerc’s near miss with Hamilton in Germany

Charles Leclerc was one of many to crash out of the German Grand Prix. This fan video shows how an incident was narrowly avoided, as Lewis Hamilton loses control of his car while Leclerc is walking away from the scene of his accident.

The final laps of the 2019 Brazilian Grand Prix were arguably the most entertaining laps of the entire season. This video begins just after the Ferrari pair had collided, and shows the field winding their way around the Interlagos circuit. Watch to the end to see the crowd’s reaction to Pierre Gasly fending off Lewis Hamilton for second place.

7. Vettel takes pole in Canada

There were plenty of happy Ferrari fans at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve as Sebastian Vettel took his first pole of the 2019 season. They won’t have been as ecstatic the day after though, as Vettel was handed a time penalty costing him the Grand Prix victory.

8. Mesmeric Monaco

It’s hard not to be mesmerised by this video of the action at the Monaco Grand Prix. It shows the car passing through the famous Tabac corner – one of the fastest corners on the street circuit. This video was filmed from the Z1 area, which is one of the cheapest locations to watch the Monaco Grand Prix from.

9. Sainz’s Australia DNF

Despite Carlos Sainz’s rise to sixth in the Drivers’ Championship by the end of the year, his season started poorly as he took the unwanted honour of being the first retiree of the 2019 season. Here you can see the smoking McLaren and a dejected Sainz walk away from his car.

10. F1 fans celebrate England’s World Cup win

Sunday at the 2019 British Grand Prix marked a great day for British sport. After Lewis Hamilton strode to a record breaking sixth Silverstone win, England secured the Cricket World Cup. Here you can see F1 fans celebrate the win as the match is played out on screens around the circuit, resulting in a stirring rendition of Queen’s We Are The Champions.
