Green Day to headline on Friday evening

American rock band Green Day will perform on the COTA Super Stage after Formula 1 free practice on October 21. Formed in 1987, Green Day have sold over 85 million records during their impressive career.

With hits including Wake Me Up When September Ends, Good Riddance (Time of Your Life) and American Idiot, the band will head to the United States Grand Prix following a European stadium tour in summer 2022.

Ed Sheeran performing on Saturday

British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran will headline the Superstage after qualifying on Saturday October 22. Sheeran is best known for hits such as Thinking Out Loud, Bad Habits and Shape of You, the latter of which remains the most-streamed song ever on Spotify.

His career, spanning over a decade, has seen him top the charts across the globe and win multiple Brit and Grammy awards. Sheeran’s appearance at the United States Grand Prix will take place just weeks after he ends a mammoth European stadium tour.
