The 2023 Formula 1 season is set to come to an end at the now traditional curtain-closing Abu Dhabi Grand Prix in November. This year, Yas Marina Circuit will overtake Adelaide as the venue to have hosted the most season-ending F1 races.
Preparations are already in full swing for this year’s F1 finale and organisers of the 2023 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix have announced the headline acts who’ll be performing over the race weekend. Foo Fighters will perform after the race on Sunday evening, Shania Twain will take to the stage on Saturday after qualifying, while Ava Max and Tiësto are confirmed for appearances on Thursday night.
The Yasalam After Race Concert Series at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix has become a major selling point of the race weekend. Def Leppard, Usher, Kendrick Lamar, Dave and Swedish House Mafia performed at the event last year, while other performers in recent seasons include Beyonce, Rhianna, Lewis Capaldi, Khalid, Stormzy and The Killers.
Tickets for all concerts is free-standing general admission access – but you can get closer to the action with Golden Circle ticket upgrades, which are now available in our ticket shop. Further headline acts for the concert on Friday November 24 are yet to be announced.

Foo Fighters Headline Post Race at the 2023 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix
Foo Fighters are set to bring the 2023 Formula 1 season to a spectacular end after the 2023 Abu Grand Prix on Sunday November 26. The US rock band, fronted by Dave Grohl, were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame in 2021.
Famed for hits such as Times Like These, Best of You and Everlong this will be the band’s first performance in Abu Dhabi. It forms part of their first tour since the death of drummer Taylor Hawkins.
Foo Fighters had been lined up to play on race day at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix back in 2021 but pulled out of the event the day before due to “unforeseen medical circumstances”, when a band member was hospitalised en route to Abu Dhabi.
Who Can Attend the 2023 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix Concerts?
Last year, Thursday evening’s concert was accessible to all Abu Dhabi Grand Prix ticket holders and all 3-day ticket holders were eligible to attend every concert over the weekend. 2-day ticket holders could attend every concert with the exception of the Friday night event, while single-day ticket holders could attend the concert on the day of their ticket, plus the Thursday night event.
Where Are the Yasalam Concerts Held?
Concerts at the 2023 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix will be held at Etihad Park (previously called Du Arena). It’s located right next to Yas Marina Circuit, between the North Grandstand and Ferrari World. It is not to be confused with the nearby Etihad Arena, a larger concert venue south of the circuit!
Gates to the concerts open quite early, but the main headline acts generally don’t come on until around 21:00 and finish by around 23:00. Learn more about visiting the nightly concerts at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix in our Yas Marina Circuit trackside guide.
2023 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix Tickets Still Available
Tickets for the 2023 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix went on sale in November 2022 and remain available. Tickets for last year’s race sold out ahead of the Grand Prix weekend, so it’s a good idea to secure access while plenty of ticket categories remain on offer. You can get more information on the best places to watch the Yas Marina race from in our guide to the best grandstands and viewing areas at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
Official ticket packages for the 2023 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix are also available from F1 Experiences. Hospitality packages from F1 Experiences include unrivalled insider access at the race weekend. Thanks to a new partnership between Formula 1 and MSC Cruises, some packages include a four-night stay on the impressive MSC Virtuosa, which will be docked near the circuit.
Is there an age restriction for the concerts?
It looks like you have to be 18 if you want to attend without a parent. If under 18, you will need a parent or guardian with you according to the information I found here: https://www.yasmarinacircuit.com/en/faq#formula1
Relevent section, applies to race and concerts: “Children of all ages are able to attend as long as they have an adult with them at all times. Ear plugs are highly recommended.”
