Starting at Imola in May and ending at Autodromo Monza in September, the Porsche Supercup will be part of the support schedule at eight European Formula 1 race weekends in 2025
The eight-race calendar for the 33rd season of the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup has been announced. The 2025 Porsche Supercup calendar features eight races, all of which will take place during European rounds of the 2025 Formula 1 season. The only major change to the calendar for 2025 is that the race at the British Grand Prix has been replaced by a race at the 2025 Spanish Grand Prix.
F1 fans are in for a packed support bill at many European F1 races in 2025, with Formula 2 & Formula 3 both on the track schedules at seven of the eight events where Porsche Supercup is also present, with the exception of the Dutch Grand Prix.

The Dutch driver defeated Harry King from the UK, who scored one victory and a total of 145 points. The other drivers to stand on the top step of the podium in 2024 were the French pair of Marvin Klein and Alessandro Ghiretti. Over Three Decades of Porsche Supercup Racing
The Porsche Supercup was first introduced in 1993 and has always been held as a support series to Formula 1. It first supported F1 at the 1993 San Marino Grand Prix. The series primarily takes place in Europe, though in recent years the race has been on the support bill at the Mexican Grand Prix, the United States Grand Prix and the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. As part of the continuation of the agreement signed between Formula 1 and Porsche in 2022, Porsche Carrera Cup Japan and Porsche Carrera Cup Asia will also appear on the schedule at Formula 1 events in their respective territories.
A major change for 2021 saw a new car introduced for the one-make series. The Type 992 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car has a slightly higher power output than the previous model, which was in use from 2017 to 2020.
The seriesโ list of champions in recent years includes Rene Rast, who who won three successive titles between 2010 and 2012 before going on to race in DTM and Formula E; sports car and touring car star Philipp Eng; and Earl Bamber in 2014, who went on to win the World Endurance Championship title alongside Timo Bernhard and Brendon Hartley in 2017. The Porsche Supercup has also attracted plenty of famous names as guest drivers in the past, including Mika Hรคkkinen, Richard Burns and, in more recent seasons, Michael Fassbender and Patrick Dempsey.
In November 2022, Formula 1 confirmed that Porsche Supercup will remain on the Grand Prix support schedule until at least 2030, following the signing of a new deal between Porsche and F1.
