2024 Bahrain Grand Prix race organisers have confirmed Diplo and Zedd will perform at the season-opening race of the 2024 Formula 1 season.
The 2024 Bahrain Grand Prix will kick off the 2024 Formula 1 season on February 29 – March 2. This year, the event celebrates its 20th anniversary and race organisers have secured the talents of two DJs to ensure the party continues when the on-track action ends.
In recent years, acts like Craig David, Afrojack and DJ Snake have headlined concerts at the Bahrain Grand Prix. In 2024, Zedd will perform after qualifying on Friday night, while Diplo will take to the stage after Saturday’s race.
The nightly concerts take place on the main stage in the Fanzone, which is located behind the Main Grandstand. The performances usually begin at around 21:00 and end by 23:00.
Zedd to Perform After Qualifying
The 2024 Bahrain Grand Prix will run on a Thursday to Saturday schedule, meaning that qualifying will take place on Friday March 1. After the first polesitter of the season has been decided under the lights on track, trackside fans can head to the Fanzone to enjoy a performance by German DJ Zedd.
After breaking onto the scene with Clarity in 2012 – which won the Grammy for Best Dance Recording in 2014 – Zedd has collaborated with the likes of Selena Gomez, Maren Morris and Alessia Cara, with his hits amassing billions of streams worldwide.
Diplo Headlines 2024 Bahrain Grand Prix Weekend
Soon after the chequered flag falls on the 2024 Bahrain Grand Prix on Saturday March 2, American DJ Diplo will be playing a set on the main stage. A member of dance music trio Major Lazer – who performed at the inaugural Las Vegas Grand Prix last November – Diplo has worked with music icons Beyoncé, The Weeknd and Madonna across his illustrious career to date.
Grandstand Capacity Extended For 20th Anniversary Race
Tickets for the 2024 Bahrain Grand Prix are selling out fast, according to the race promoter. Bahrain International Circuit recently announced that 500 extra seats have been added to the Victory Grandstand due to significant demand for tickets at the season-opening race.
The Main, Beyon, Turn 1, and University grandstands have already sold out via the official Bahrain Grand Prix website, though limited numbers are available in our ticket shop. Ticket packages still remain available via F1 Experiences.
Ahead of the new season, pre-season testing commences at Bahrain International Circuit on February 21. Tickets for the three days of testing are also on sale.
