What’s Happening in Doha on 2025 Qatar Grand Prix Weekend?

From fan zones to motorsport exhibitions, car displays and art festivals, here are the top events happening in Doha during the 2025 Qatar Grand Prix!

The 2025 Qatar Grand Prix will be the penultimate race of the 2025 season, running from November 28-30. To coincide with Formula 1’s visit to Lusail Circuit, Doha is celebrates race week with a range of activities for motorsport fans. We’ve rounded up the best off-track events to attend!

Place Vendome Fan Zone

Running from November 15 to November 30, there are two fan zones in Doha. There are various F1-themed things to see and do at Place Vendome, a shopping mall known for its high class retail options. At the Place Vendome Luxury Zone (near Gate 4), a replica Formula 1 car will be on display until November 23, while immersive motorsport-themed performances are set to wow audiences, taking place on weekends at 19:00 and 20:00. Meanwhile, you can head to the Place Vendome Interactive Zone (near Gate 1), for interactive activities like racing simulators and reaction games. Exclusive prizes are on offer for winners!

West Walk Fan Zone

Situated in the heart of the Al Waab district, West Walk is a contemporary “live-work-play experience” featuring apartments, offices, restaurants, cinemas and a shopping mall. Ahead of the 2024 Qatar Grand Prix, it is set to become host to a lively fan zone, featuring F1-inspired games, experiences and prizes, similar to those on offer in the fan zone at Place Vendome Interactive Zone.

The two fan zones, at Place Vendome and West Walk, are open daily during race week, Saturday to Wednesday 12:00-22:00 and Thursday to Saturday 12:00-23:00.

Explore Qatar’s Motorsport History

Celebrate the history, present and future of Formula 1 in Qatar with a special exhibition at the 3-2-1 Olympic and Sports Museum in Lusail. The museum has partnered with the Qatar E-Sports Federation and the Silverstone Museum to tell the story of Qatar’s motorsport history – from the first Qatar Motor Rally in 1977 through to the most recent running of the Formula 1 Qatar Grand Prix. The exhibition runs through to April 2025.

Qatar Classic Cars Contest and Exhibition

Admire the classic cars of previous generations at a special exhibition on Doha’s famous Pearl Island. The Qatar Classic Cars Contest and Exhibition features a collection of vintage cars from all eras, which will be on display for car lovers and enthusiasts to peruse. The exhibition is open daily, from 11:00 to 23:00, on November 27 to December 2.

Head to Qatar International Art Festival

The Qatar International Art Festival coincides with race week at the 2024 Qatar Grand Prix. The sixth edition of the country’s largest art festival takes place at Karara Cultural Village, around 10km north of downtown Doha. Taking place from November 25-30, this year’s exhibition explores themes of Opportunity, Optimism and Openness. It will feature various exhibitions, cultural tours, conferences and panel talk shows.

Legends El Clasico: Real Madrid vs Barcelona

Kick off the 2024 Qatar Grand Prix weekend with a game of football! Legendary players from Real Madrid and Barcelona are set to face off in a special match on Thursday November 28. Starting at 19:00, the game between the Barça Legends and the Real Madrid Leyendas will take place at the Khalifa Stadium, which hosted matches during the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
