Rock icons The Killers and Queen + Adam Lambert will headline the 2023 United States Grand Prix weekend at Circuit of The Americas on October 20-22.
Following on from a record-breaking crowd in 2022, the 2023 United States Grand Prix is set to be one of the best-attended Formula 1 races of the season once more. In the build up to the race weekend, which is set to take place on October 20-22, race organisers have confirmed the headline acts who’ll perform on the Germania Insurance Super Stage at the 2023 United States Grand Prix.
American rock band The Killers will take to the stage on Friday October 20, while rock royalty Queen + Adam Lambert will headline the Super Stage after qualifying on Saturday October 21. DJ Tiësto will also be performing as part of the Post-Race Celebration after the race on Sunday October 22.
All 2023 United States Grand Prix ticket holders receive free entry to the concerts, while upgrades offering access closer to the stage are expected to be available at a later date.
The Killers will perform on Friday evening
Formed in Las Vegas in 2001, The Killers have become one of the biggest rock bands of the 21st century. Having sold close to 30 million records, The Killers’ 20-year career has spawned hits such as Mr Brightside, Human and Somebody Told Me.
The Killers will head to the 2023 United States Grand Prix having performed a string of festival dates and stadium appearances across the summer.
The band will headline the Super Stage after the on-track action has finished on Friday October 20. The Killers have plenty of past experience of performing at Formula 1 events. Among their previous performances are the 2018 Singapore Grand Prix, the 2019 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix plus, most recently, a special performance as part of F1’s Las Vegas Grand Prix launch party event in November 2022.
Queen + Adam Lambert to headline Saturday night
One of the world’s biggest-selling rock bands will headline the 2023 United States Grand Prix. Famed for hits like Bohemian Rhapsody, Don’t Stop Me Now and We Are The Champions, Queen bring their awe-inspiring live show to Circuit of The Americas for a special performance on Saturday October 21.
Founding Queen members Roger Taylor and Brian May will be joined by Adam Lambert, who has performed with the band since 2011. Queen + Adam Lambert have enjoyed continued success over the past decade, having headed out on multiple worldwide arena tours.
Like The Killers, Queen + Adam Lambert have also previously performed at a Formula 1 weekend. They headlined at the 2016 Singapore Grand Prix.
Tiësto performing post-race, plus more acts
In recent years, DJ performances after the race have become common at the United States Grand Prix. 2023 is no different, with Tiësto taking to the stage at the Germania Insurance Ampitheater after the race on Sunday October 22.
The Dutch DJ, whose hits include Red Lights, Wasted and Lay Low, will perform as part of COTA’s “Post-Race Celebration”.
The Germania Insurance Ampitheater is located in the Fanzone, near the Grand Plaza, close to Turns 18-19.
There’s music from plenty more acts over the weekend, with a line-up of almost 20 bands and artists performing across four stages as part of The American Soundtrack, a specially curated series of performances showcasing national and international talent. The full line-up can be found on the Circuit of The Americas website.

does my race weekend ticket grant me access to the concerts, or would concern entry be purchased separately?
Yes, all ticket holders get access to the concerts if their race ticket is valid on that day. Closer to race weekend, it will be possible to buy a concert upgrade to get into an enclosure that’s closer to the stage
Who is in concert on Sunday afternoon?
Not been announced yet. The concerts after the race normally take place at the Germania Insurance Amphitheater, not the COTA Superstage.
Where does the band perform? Am I in the same seats for the concert as I am for the Grand Prix?
The band performs on the Super Stage, between Turns 11 & 12. Check the map here. The Turn 9 bleachers have a distant view of the stage, but everyone else just watches on the lawn in front of the stage.
Is there any seating available for the concerts? Can we bring chairs?
No seating available. Bringing a collapsible camping chair is allowed
