Formula 1 is set to return to Lusail Circuit for the third running of the Qatar Grand Prix on November 29 to December 1. With less than a month to go until the race, event organisers have confirmed that Maroon 5 will be the headline act performing on race weekend.

Maroon 5 rose to prominence in the early 2000s with their debut album Songs About Jane, which gave the band international hits with songs like She Will Be Loved and This Love. They will close out Sunday evening at the 2024 Qatar Grand Prix, performing on stage around an hour after the chequered flag has fallen on Sunday December 1.

The Qatar Grand Prix will be the first of two races at the end of the 2024 season at which Maroon 5 will perform, with them also heading to the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix one week after their Lusail performance. The band previously performed at the Singapore Grand Prix in both 2012 and 2015.

Fronted by Adam Levine, Maroon 5 have had continued commercial success and fans trackside at the 2024 Qatar Grand Prix can expect to hear more of their hits like Makes Me Wonder, Moves Like Jagger and Payphone when they take to the stage at Lusail Circuit.

Access to the concert is free for 3-day ticket holders, as well as single day Sunday ticket holders. VIP access is on offer to those with the circuit’s hospitality packages.

Concerts on race weekend at the Qatar Grand Prix take place on a stage that is a 10-15 minute walk from the Fanzone. In previous years, gates to the concert area opened around 30 minutes after the day’s on-track action finished, with the concert starting around 30 minutes after that.

The Qatar Grand Prix has attracted international musical acts to perform on race weekend since first joining the calendar in 2021. Last year, the event featured performances from Egyptian singer Amr Diab and Swedish DJ Alesso. It was also set to feature a headline performance from global superstar Bruno Mars, but he was replaced by DJ Snake at the last minute.

2024 Qatar Grand Prix Tickets Still Available

Tickets remain available for the 2024 Qatar Grand Prix. In 2023, Max Verstappen won his third World Championship at Lusail Circuit, taking the honours as a result of the Saturday Sprint race. It’s possible that Verstappen could repeat the feat in 2024, with the title still yet to be won ahead of the final triple header of races – of which Qatar is the second.

Qatar will once again host Formula 1’s Sprint format in 2024. Last year’s Sprint saw Oscar Piastri win a race in F1 for the first time. The Grand Prix itself was won by newly-crowned champion Verstappen.

VIP packages are currently available via our trusted supplier, while exclusive packages are on offer via F1 Experiences, Formula 1’s official ticket package partner.

The Lusail area has embraced F1’s presence in Qatar since the event made its debut in 2021. Qatar’s motorsport history is being celebrated in a recently-opened exhibition at the 3-2-1 Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum (QOSM), taking racing fans on a journey from the country’s first Motor Rally in 1975 to the latest running of the Qatar Grand Prix. Featuring artefacts like race suits, trophies, tyres and models, the exhibition is open until April 2025.
