The inaugural Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix was the most expensive race to attend on the 2023 F1 calendar. Tickets were sold in phases, with grandstands priced at a minimum of $2,000 USD for three days. This was significantly higher than every other race on the F1 calendar, though all grandstand tickets did include stadium food and non-alcoholic drinks.
Hotel rooms are also expensive on race weekend, though at least they are in good supply in the USA’s nightlife capital. Those who booked late were rewarded with much lower prices on hotel rooms than in the initial period of sales. At the higher end, the sky was the limit in terms of VIP packages, with Wynn Las Vegas offering a million dollar ticket package for the race.
Based on 2024 ticket prices for the other stateside races in Miami and Austin, it’s likely that ticket prices will fall for the 2024 Las Vegas Grand Prix, though they are still expected to be amongst the most expensive (if not the most expensive) on the 2024 Formula 1 calendar. - Hostel bed in Las Vegas for 3 nights = $150 USD
- Daily spending: $100 x 3 = $300 USD
Mid-Range
- Weekend cost approx. $3,000 USD
- 3-day West Harmon Grandstand ticket = $1,500 USD
- 3-star hotel in Las Vegas for 3 nights (double/twin share, per person) = $900 USD
- Daily spending: $200 x 3 = $600 USD
High End
- Weekend cost approx. $8,500 USD
- 3-Day Legacy or Club Overtake Hospitality (South Koval Zone) = $5,500 USD
- 4 or 5-star hotel in Las Vegas for 3 nights (double/twin share, per person) = $1,500 USD
- Daily spending: $500 x 3 = $1,500 USD

About our categories: Budget fans buy the cheapest race tickets (General Admission) and camp by the track or stay in a hostel. Mid-Range fans buy a grandstand ticket and stay in a 3-star hotel, whilst High-End fans buy a VIP or experience package and stay in a 4 or 5 star hotel.
I think that’s a travesty the city of Las Vegas residents taxpayers dollars were allocated to help with the track and the Las Vegas residents are good enough to serve the tourist Etc but we’re not good enough to see a race in our own backyard even in Florida for $65 you can be on the sidewalk someone should look at this this is not fair
I don’t know how long you been here in Vegas but welcome to Vegas baby because this is how they roll!=I’ve been in Vegas for 37 years too long originally from California the good California surfing sailing by the beach had a great time when I was a kid. Just wait till the Oakland A’s come to town that’s going to be even worse LOL too bad they have to tear down one of the oldest buildings. Well have fun take care, yeah I think a man was racing in a commercial van when he hit and killed my homeless brother 6 years ago. But on a happier note, the good things in Vegas are outside of the strip and downtown areas. If I can remember everything from 87 I like to write a book called Lost in Paradise lol.
This is outrageous. How many people who had to put up with the noise, road closures, and now we find out few residents who had put up with all of this won’t be able to see it. Further the parties that are planned accoreding to my friend Chris who works these things are private with tickets to attend at the Five Thousand to 25 thousand and a few a rang of half a million. The ciizens are told FIve Hundred dollars is cheap. TO WHO? This whole thing for a few filthy rich people who will breeze in in 100million dollar jets gamble, and only at the most expensive places and then breeze out days later leaving the taxpayer AGAIN stuck with the clean up bill.
One has to ask how many First Class tickets and invites have been comped to the city, county and state officials to cough up these tens of millions of taxpayer dollars.
VOTE THE MAYOR AND ANYONE WHO APPROVED THIS BOONDOGGLE FOR THE WEALTHY, OUT OF OFFICE.
Lots of griping about the costs here. You could always stay at a Motel 6, eat at McDonald’s and watch the race on the TV. They have those vibrating beds thingies too. Bring lots of quarters.
