F1 to Host 2025 Season Launch at London’s O2 Arena

London’s O2 Arena is set to host a special 2025 Formula 1 season launch event, featuring all 10 teams and 20 drivers, as part of the sport’s 75th anniversary celebrations.

2025 marks 75 years since the inaugural round of the Formula 1 World Championship took place at Silverstone. To celebrate the sport’s 75th anniversary, all 10 teams and the 20 drivers will appear together on stage at the O2 Arena in London.

The event – titled ‘F1 75 Live’ – will be the first opportunity to see the new liveries for 2025 as all 10 teams reveal their new look for the first time. The event will take place on Tuesday February 18, just over one week before official pre-season testing begins at Bahrain International Circuit.

The 2025 season launch event marks the first time all teams and drivers will appear together on stage away from the racetrack since a smaller-scale free season launch show in Federation Square, Melbourne, ahead of the 2019 Australian Grand Prix.

Special Guest Presenters and Entertainment

The 2025 season launch show will mark the first time in Formula 1 history that all competing teams have joined forces to unveil their new liveries in a single event. Taking place from 8pm to 10pm, fans will be able to see the new liveries for the first time and hear from each of the 20 drivers and all 10 team principals on their hopes for the upcoming season. A press release from Formula 1 also promises special guest presenters and “cutting-edge” entertainment.

Speaking about the season launch event, Formula 1 CEO Stefano Domenicali said:

For the first time we will bring together our fans, all 20 superstars of our sport and some very special guests to officially kick off our new season and mark our 75th year of racing. With 2025 set to be a classic season following all the drama so far in 2024, this is a fantastic opportunity for fans of all ages to experience up-close the incredible entertainment spectacle that is Formula 1.”

With no major rule changes in 2025, next season is expected to be one of the most competitive Formula 1 seasons in recent memory.

F1 75 Live is being brought to life by Emmy-nominated creative producer Brian Burke of BrianBurkeCreative – the same production company which produced the opening and closing ceremonies for the inaugural Las Vegas Grand Prix in 2023.
