F1 Tickets – News Roundup, May 2014

We are already almost one third through the 2014 Formula 1 season, but it’s not too late to buy tickets to one of the remaining thirteen races this year. Discounted tickets are still available for several races, but you need to get in quick. And if you like to plan ahead, you can already buy tickets for early-season 2015 races!

Hurry up! Discounted tickets for Monza and Abu Dhabi only available till May 31.

Early-bird discounts of up to 30% on tickets for the final race of this season, the 2014 Abu Dhabi Formula 1 Grand Prix at Yas Marina, are only available till May 31.  You can purchase via the Yas Marina circuit website. Tickets are also available via bookF1 and Gootickets. Our ten-part fan’s travel guide will be published around 2-3 months before the Abu Dhabi race, which will be held on November 21-23, 2014.

Purchase your tickets to the 2014 Italian Formula 1 Grand Prix at Monza before May 31 and you will still be entitled to a discount of approximately 5% on the regular ticket price. Single-day tickets will not go on sale until August 1. Purchase from the Monza website, from bookF1 or Gootickets. The Italian race takes place this year between September 4-7. Russian Grand Prix tickets to go on sale May 30

A couple of months later than planned, tickets for the 2014 Russian Grand Prix at the Sochi circuit will go on sale this Friday, May 30.  The race takes place on October 10-12. According to news reports last week, a total of 45000 tickets will be available –  8000 tickets for the main covered pit straight grandstand, 23000 tickets for temporary grandstands on other parts of the circuit and 7000 tickets for the General Admission area near the Bolshoi Ice Dome. For the oligarchs, there will also be 3000 VIP lounge tickets and 5000 Paddock Club tickets. The cheapest three-day General Admission tickets are expected to be priced at 5000 roubles ($145 USD). Tickets will be on sale via sochiautodrom.ru–  the site will go live this Friday. Planning ahead? 2015 tickets for Australia and Spain already on sale

The 2015 Formula 1 calendar may not yet be finalised, but that hasn’t stopped the organisers in Australia and Spain putting early-bird tickets on sale.

The 2015 Australian Formula 1 Grand Prix will be the 20th running of the event at Albert Park. As always, fans who purchase advance tickets get Gold GP Advantage benefits – to qualify, tickets must be purchased before July 31, 2014. There is also a trip to the 2014 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix at Yas Marina up for grabs. Ticket prices are currently frozen at 2014 levels, but could increase ahead of the race. The provisional dates for the 2015 Australian Grand Prix are March 12-15. Book via the circuit website or on bookF1. Read our tickets guide to Albert Park here.

Tickets for the 2015 Spanish Formula 1 Grand Prix at Circuit de Catalunya are also already on sale. Purchase before November 28, 2014 and you will get a discount of 20% on the regular ticket prices, which remain the same as in 2014. The provisional dates for the 2015 race are May 8-10.
